Solidworks licenses are linked to the computer it has been activated on.
To use the software on a different computer the license must first be deactivated and is done following the steps below.
How to Deactivate Solidworks
- Open Solidworks

Open Help > Licenses > Deactivate
How to Activate Solidworks
- Open Solidworks
- Open Help > Licenses > Activate
