If you're experiencing issues such as print jobs not reaching the printer or have recently changed your email address, it's often necessary to uninstall and reinstall uniFLOW SmartClient to ensure proper functionality and connectivity.

On a Windows Computer:

  1. Click the Start button.

  2. Select the Settings (gear icon).

  3. In the Settings window, click Apps.

  4. Choose Apps & features.

  5. Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate uniFLOW SmartClient.

  6. Click on uniFLOW SmartClient, then select Uninstall.

  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

  8. Restart your computer once the uninstallation is complete.

On a Mac Computer:

  1. Ensure you are logged in with an administrator account.

  2. Quit uniFLOW SmartClient by right-clicking its icon in the menu bar and selecting Quit.

  3. Open Launchpad > Other > Terminal.

  4. In the Terminal window, type the following command and press Enter:

    sudo bash /etc/smartclient/uninstall-smartclient.bash
  5. Enter your admin password when prompted.
NOTE: you won’t see any characters appear—no asterisks, dots, or text. This is normal behavior in macOS Terminal for security reasons.

  6. Wait for the uninstallation process to complete.
